Lenovo on Tuesday launched the Vibe Z smartphone for the Indian market at Rs. 35,999 which was unveiled at CES last year. The Vibe Z will be available across the country later this month.
The Lenovo Vibe Z is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) 4G LTE smartphone that runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the box. It features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS wide angle display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Vibe Z is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage without microSD expansion.
Lenovo Vibe Z sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and dual-LED flash. It also includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. The Lenovo Vibe Z measures 149.1 x 77 x 7.9 mm and is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000mAh battery which can deliver up to 278 hours of standby time.
Priced at Rs 35,999, the Vibe Z will be up against the likes of the Gionee Elife E7, the Sony Xperia Z1 and the Samsung Galaxy S4. Earlier in December, Lenovo also launched the Vibe X smartphone for the Indian market at Rs. 25,999.
