Valorant Guide: What are Controllers?

The characters which we play in Valorant are known as Agents. And Agents are divided into several parts:

  • Duelist
  • Controller
  • Initiator
  • Sentinel

Earlier this week, we published an article about Duelists’ background, their skills, and strategy or tactics in detail. And in this article, we are providing information about the Controller Category of Valorant.

According to Riot Games Official Wiki, “Controllers are experts in slicing up dangerous territory to set their team up for success.”

What does the statement mean?

The above statement means that the agents who come under the Controller category are basically key players who help their team get frags (especially entry-frags, which is helpful for the duelists). With the Control on the site, it is easier for duelists to enter a site and take on the first kill and lead the team to score up.

Who can Play Controller?

Players who have a good game sense and like to play at 2nd and 3rd position of the team with some key gameplay like Omen and Brimstone’s Smokes, whereas Viper’s poisonous wall, etc., stuff.
