Among Us was firstly available for the PC platform and mobile devices before getting released on the Nintendo Switch, Among Us was also confirmed for the release on the Xbox Console Family as well as through Xbox Game Pass Subscription Service. Although the PlayStation consoles are the last to take advantage of the announcement from Among Us, PlayStation fans shouldn’t be that far behind anyone because the game isn’t out either on the Xbox consoles. It could arrive sometime in 2021, although it has not been given a more accurate date.
The PlayStation announcement will clarify when exactly the latest Airship map will be out, with the next major news for gamers. Almost all the updates consisted of the developer saying the work was completed along with explanations about why this development took longer than the audience would have liked. InnerSloth sent occasional updates to remind players about it.
The success of the game forced InnerSloth to concentrate on its efforts after already turning to a sequel to Among Us that postponed development on the original game, thus affecting the timeframe of the Airship map.
In the meantime, we have looked not at the future but at the history of Among Us. Things such as images and ideas before the start of the game showed viewers what had improved and how part of it had developed before the game was launched.
About Among Us:
Among us is a computer game that was designed by the InnerSloth firm and published in 2018 as a “social deduction game for online multiplayer,” in which up to 10 players run around in a virtual spacecraft performing traditional maintenance activities while attempting to find out who the “impostors” are before they destroy everything. Remember Mafia’s game or sleepover? It’s that, practically unless you’re small astronauts from blobby.
At the beginning of the game, the Skeld, a random role is assigned to four to ten players. You can be a frequent crewmate to complete before the round ends, from inspecting your health conditions to tracking the trajectory of the ship, or you’ll be an enforcer to pretend to do fake assignments while actually selecting and killing the players on the ship. They can also sabotage the whole boat, release oxygen or break the reactor, so that people can fit things.
When a body is discovered, the person who discovers it informs the other players and a gathering takes place to talk about who the impostor is (or are, if there are several). They vote and anyone who gets the majority of votes is removed and the round continues until an emergency meeting is located or someone calls. If you are an impostor, your aim will be that all the players except you cast votes as convincingly as possible. You should see who’s the other so you don’t go after each other, whether there are different impostors and one you are.
You should limit your visual area to your surroundings if you are a crew member (even smaller if someone turns off the lights). You should see where everyone else is on the screen, whether you are an impostor. The cameras in other rooms can also be looked at, and some players can be seen on other ships. However, it is important to remember that not all of you may think when you say the rest of the crew, even though you see someone murdered right in front of you.
