Riot Games announced that its professional shooter Valorant would miss the much-awaited bi-weekly Patch 2.10. They will skip to patch 2.11 directly, which will arrive in June later on.
Riot has been reasonably compliant with new releases since Valorant was released in June 2020. We are sure that every new episode and every new Act will have great content drops and marginally smaller updates. We are often treated for routine fixes (e.g., patches) between these large changes.
These patches help Riot tweak stuff on the fly, from balancing changes to vital bug fixes to matching overhauls. When a new agent gets out of control or a weapon gets too powerful, the devs can respond in any numbered patch.
Riot decided to break down a whole patch in an extraordinary leap against its tactical shooter game. Any updates or corrections expected on the path have now been delayed. Exactly why the next update from Valorant has been removed, it leads to major problems in the cap.
Periodically, we have to update the engine for our game. Due to the nature of these updates, we want to give ourselves plenty of testing time and a stabilization period before shipping it to you. So, there will be no Patch 2.10. The next update will be Patch 2.11, around June 8.

“We must upgrade our game engine periodically,” said Riot. “We want to take a lot of time to stabilize ourselves before we ship to you because of the nature of those changes.” The engine is tweaked so that all kinds of unforeseen problems can be contained. Riot decided to keep it running before starting a fresh update live to stop confusion in the public eye. Therefore, “there will be no patch 2.10,” they confirmed. Instead, players have to wait until Patch 2.11 comes through “around June 8.”
What developers have intended for 2.10 is not certain, but any big updates will now be rolled out into patch 2.11. When those improvements occur, the largest delay in Valorant alerts so far will be claimed. As the Patch 2.10, fans should hope to see a larger and improved update to Valorant Patch Notes 2.11. If we are fortunate, the players might also see a new agent. This additional time required to ship the upcoming update from Riot Games would also prohibit any game breakdown glitches from going next to the patch.
