iPhone 13 Leaks: It may come with notchless display

Apple just dropped a major hint regarding the forthcoming iPhone 13. During the popular comedy program Ted Lasso, which airs on Apple TV+, a notch-less iPhone was observed.

While we are aware that Apple does not presently provide iPhones with a display notch, it is possible that the firm did so on purpose during the most recent episode of the Apple TV+ original series.

The sixth episode of the most recent Season 2 of ‘The Signal’, which was the last episode of the season, features a few sequences with the notch-less iPhone, which is expected to be introduced as the iPhone 13.

So, what’s familiar about the iPhone 13 without a notch? Well, there’s the lock screen UI with the clock showing and the dynamic background that’s unique to Apple.

It’s possible that this information or leak is correct and that Apple will be going away from the notch design that debuted on the iPhone X in 2017. This is a significant update for Apple fans, and it even has the potential to revolutionize smartphone design for the whole Android ecosystem.

An analogous shift in front design was observed on smartphones with the introduction of Apple’s iPhone X in 2017. Ironically, phone manufacturers copied the display notch design at first, only to duplicate it again later on.

It is seen in one of the pictures during this episode that vertical positioning at the rear is similar to the location of the cameras on the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 mini. This might imply that the iPhone 13, which is the more inexpensive model compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, would include a back camera arrangement similar to that of the iPhone 11.

Paul Bailey, the Twitter user who noticed the notch-less iPhones during the Ted Lasso episode and uploaded images of them on the micro-blogging network, deserves a small pat on the back.

The major issue now is whether Apple did that on purpose or whether it was just a gimmick to throw everyone off the scent of their products. Both assumptions, it turns out, may be correct.

According to what experts learned so far about the iPhone 13, it will have a smaller display notch on the front and a new camera location on the back, which may be different from the current iPhone 12 lineup, among other things.

Another thing that speculations have suggested so far is that the camera housing on the rear of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be larger than the camera housing on the back of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, which we previously saw. Also, iPhone 13 supports LEO satellite communication.
