The introduction of “iQOO All Stars Cup,” a new gaming IP from smartphone brand iQOO, is intended to give a boost to the esports scene in India, the company stated. Several teams will compete for the top place in the famous mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India during the gaming competition.
iQOO has announced that the event will begin on August 26, at 6:00 p.m., and will last through August 31, 2021. The event will take place online only. This year’s event will include a battle amongst the top 16 BGMI teams from throughout the country.
The top three finishers will each earn a cash reward of Rs 500,000 as part of the prize pool. There will be a total of three winners in the tournament. Some of the money will also be given to the “Fully Loaded Performer,” also known as the tournament’s most valuable player.
IQOO’s participation in the gaming event is the latest step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its position in the Indian gaming sector. The business has introduced a line of smartphones that are designed to provide consumers with superior gaming capabilities. iQOO 7 Legend is an example of such a device, which retails in India for a starting price of Rs 39,990 for the 8GB RAM configuration. We recently completed a review of the gadget, and the following is our assessment of it.
“We see tremendous potential in the developing esports market and are committed to empowering the next-generation gamers of the nation,” said Gagan Arora, Director-Marketing at iQOO, with regards to the company’s push for the gaming ecosystem in India.
Recently, iQOO introduced a fresh set of flagship smartphones in China, which were equally well received. The iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro are the latest gadgets from iQOO, and they are the successors of the iQOO 7 series. The new devices provide several improvements over the previous version.
The gadgets are expected to go on sale in China later this month, but there has been no indication of when they would be available in India.
When it comes to the specifics, the new iQOO 8 series smartphones are equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 series CPU on both variations this time around, as well as new color options for the devices themselves. High refresh rate screens and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM are also included in the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro configurations.
