Amazon India announced the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021, which will take place on September 24, 2021, and is the most anticipated selling event in the country. The big shopping sale event will begin on October 4, 2021, and will last for many weeks.
Flipkart has also just revealed the commencement date for its Big Billion Day sale event, which will take place on October 7, 2021. The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021 and the Flipkart Big Billion Days 2021 will take place almost concurrently, according to the organizers.
More than 1 Million vendors will be taking part in the big sale event, according to Amazon India’s latest announcement. The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021 sale will take place over the course of a month. From the beginning of the year, the e-commerce behemoth switched from a week-long structure to a month-long one.
The Flipkart Big Billion Days sale event, on the other hand, will take place over the course of six days in 2021.
The Vice President of Amazon India, Manish Tiwary, has said that “This is the first major Diwali for merchants connected with the Local Shops on Amazon program since the program itself has only been in operation for around 18 months. That is the most significant development in this year’s auction. In addition, in honor of the one-year anniversary of our wholesale marketplace Amazon Business, we are offering a special discount to companies who are already registered with Amazon Business. Customers will get close to 20% cashback when they buy during the event, which will run from September 24 to September 29. We have over 400,000 merchants on Amazon Business, and we have close to 15 million SKUs that are GST-enabled.”
Amazon India has also claimed that small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) customers may save up to 28 percent more on business purchases made on Amazon Business than they would otherwise. From GST invoicing and bulk discounts to special offers, cashback, and more, there’s something for everyone in the MSME buying community.
Furthermore, the savings associated with a GST invoice are applicable across all of the different product categories. Laptops, vacuum cleaners, office gadgets, printers, and other items from companies such as Lenovo, Canon, HP, Godrej, Casio, and others will be available during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021 sale, among other things.
