iQOO and Krafton have teamed up for BGMI tournament

iQOO BGMI: The first Battlegrounds Mobile India Series competition has been announced by iQOO, a smartphone brand, and Krafton, a gaming software company. The event, which will have “near to 100,000 registered teams,” will be sponsored by IQOO, which will serve as the title sponsor. Both firms have established a prize money pool of Rs 1 crore, which will be split between them. Krafton announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series competition, which will have a prize pool of Rs 1 crore, back in July, and this news is about iQoo joining the firm for the event now that it has been revealed.

The event will be divided into five stages, with each stage consisting of a round in which players will be eliminated. During the competition, there will be in-game qualifications, and those who do not participate will not be eligible to advance to the first round. Only 1,024 teams will be able to advance to the next round in this competition. After making it through the first round, participants will have to accomplish daily objectives and compete in qualifiers in order to advance to the next round.

One of the numerous pledges that the South Korean firm, Krafton, made last year when it launched the Indian version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile was the organization of the Battlegrounds Mobile India competition. Among the methods in which it plans to invest $100 million (approximately Rs 748.5 crore) in India are esports competitions such as this one, which will help to raise the industry’s profile. The business Krafton is attempting to solidify its status as a popular gaming company in India by forming collaborations such as this one with iQoo.

We are striving to provide unique and fascinating competitions for the gaming community in India since we were among the first to offer online gaming services in the nation. A first-of-its-kind gaming competition, the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES will assist gaming fans in channelizing their gaming talents and harnessing their ability. “We are devoted to providing our users with a smooth gaming experience, and this cooperation with iQOO will assist us in furthering that objective,” stated Sean (Hyunil) Sohn, Head of Krafton’s India Division.

As part of the competition, iQOO, which just released its Z5 smartphone in India, hopes to raise awareness of gaming in the country. According to Gagan Arora, Chief Marketing Officer of iQOO, “With this cooperation, we want to contribute to the burgeoning mobile gaming sector in the nation and further increase iQOO’s presence among the existing as well as future gaming lovers.”
