Customers of Amazon Prime will be able to share short video snippets from their favourite movies and clips, according to a new clip-sharing function revealed by the company. You often like a moment from a movie or web series so much that you will want to share it with your friends as soon as possible. Shared video clips were previously not allowed due to Amazon Prime’s prohibition on screen sharing. This has been changed. On the other hand, users will now have access to a dedicated clip-sharing tool that will allow them to share clips with family and friends.
Users of Amazon Prime will be able to share a video clip from Prime Video that is up to 30 seconds in length. The video snippets may be shared on social networking networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and they can also be sent as direct messages to other people on the platform.
But the feature is only accessible on a limited number of films and television episodes, including The Boys, The Wilds, and Invincible Episode One. In a recent announcement, Amazon stated that it will be adding additional titles in the coming days. Users of iOS devices are the only ones who can take advantage of this function. It is now being implemented in the United States.
“Prime Video users can now share their favourite clips from certain Amazon Original programmes with friends and family on social media or via direct message thanks to X-Ray technology,” says the company. According to Amazon, “from the first scene in Season One of The Boys to the first time Toni and Shelby meet in The Wilds to the jaw-dropping reveal at the end of Invincible Episode One, as well as the many adventures of Dale, Derica, Benny, and Truman in Fairfax,” there are “a plethora of snackable scenes to share.”
On Amazon Prime, you will notice a “Share a Clip” option at the bottom of the screen, which you may use to share a clip from a series or movie you are now viewing. This will cause the programme to pause and the clip, edit, and share screens to be displayed.
In order to produce a 30-second clip of the video you picked, Prime will launch the editing window once it has been opened. To fine-tune the effect, you may move the clip forward or backward. You’ll also be able to preview it before you share it with other people.
You may then share the clip with others by tapping the “Share” option on the screen. You can share it via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, iMessage, Messenger, and WhatsApp when you have finished editing it.
The feature will be accessible for The Boys (Season One), The Wilds, Invincible, and Fairfax, with other Amazon Original movies and series to be added as they become available.
