In order to launch an Air Strike against a tank in Fortnite, you must first locate an Air Strike item. These can be found as floor loot across the island, but they can also be found in Chests and Supply Drops. Air Strikes are Legendary items, therefore your odds of finding one are small. But if you keep looking with an eye on the ground, you’ll ultimately find one.
How to call in an Air Strike on a tank?
After you’ve obtained an Air Strike, you’ll need to locate a tank to deploy it on. Tanks can be found in a variety of settings, however, Command Cavern is the best option because there are two tanks nearby.
Deploy the Air Strike, target the tank (it doesn’t matter if it’s being driven or not), and fire. The Air Strike should last eight seconds and will unleash a total of 20 missiles at the location you specify. Remember that you only have two chances to use each Air Strike missile, so aim wisely and make the most of them!
