WhatsApp Companion Mode: All you need to know
WhatsApp Companion Mode will essentially allow users to connect their primary device like a smartphone, with a WhatsApp account on a secondary smartphone. A snapshot also shows that when users start using WhatsApp on the secondary smartphone, all data from the first device is deleted.
Companion mode, as displayed in the screenshot, allows users to connect their gadget to an existing WhatsApp account on their phone. When users switch to companion mode, they are logged out of their present WhatsApp account. This, however, will delete all locally stored WhatsApp data, including messages and media. The graphic also indicates that customers can utilize Google Drive to back up their current account’s data.
WABetaInfo discovered the feature in WhatsApp beta for Android v2.22.10.13. According to the publication, users will be able to just use WhatsApp on many devices at the same time. Although this feature is available for a variety of devices, it doesn’t allow users to use WhatsApp on several smartphones. That might be possible with Companion Mode. More information about WhatsApp Companion Mode should become available in the coming days.

The functionality will be available as an immersive way to respond to WhatsApp status updates. According to the source, WhatsApp is developing a total of 8 emoji reactions that can be delivered from the interface that allows users to monitor the statuses of others.
